Braver Angels Debate Volunteer Forum: May 2026

Are you a Braver Angels Debate volunteer? Are you curious about becoming one? Are you looking to gain some wisdom about what it takes and to pass on what you've learned? If so, we invite you to join us for the monthly Debate Volunteer Forum! This virtual gathering, held on the second Wednesday of the month, offers camaraderie and leadership development to our corps of volunteers. Each session will feature a specific theme designed to help you level up your skills and lead more confidently—not just on the debate floor, but in your community and your life.

In our May Forum, Debates Program Coordinator Sam Rechek will lead a discussion about about debates.

The event will last 60 minutes, with an optional 15-30 minute open forum to follow, at which you are welcome to chat with our team and your fellow volunteers about challenges you're facing.

All are welcome to attend regardless of level of experience. Please note, however, that while all are welcome to attend, our presentation will assume familiarity with the basics of a Braver Angels Debate.
