About The Event
David Weekley Homes wants the City of Woodstock to annex and rezone Ansley Park. If it passes, about 130 households on Dupree Road could lose their homes to make way for 220 houses most of them could never afford to buy. This is not new housing added to our community. It replaces homes that families live in right now.
None of it happens without a yes from the Woodstock City Council, and that vote is theirs alone. They can vote no. Whether they do is up to us. Two dates decide this fight: the Planning Commission hearing on Thursday, August 6, and the City Council final vote on Monday, August 24. Every voice in the room and every letter in the inbox moves us closer to a no.
Come find out how you can help, whether that means sending the letter, signing the petition, canvassing your neighbors, or standing up to speak. No experience needed. We will show you everything and put you to work alongside people who care about this community as much as you do. Spanish language support is available.
Send the letter, sign the petition, volunteer, and find your council member all in one place: https://www.ngacan.org/save-ansley-park
Everyone who believes families deserve to keep their homes is welcome here.
