Off Grid Comms with Meshtastic | Presented by Anthony Aragues (GA HD 21 Candidate)

Meshtastic is a free, open source mesh radio network that lets you send encrypted text messages across miles of terrain with no cell towers, no internet, and no monthly fees. Small devices, big range, zero dependence on infrastructure you don't control.

This is a hands on session with real hardware on the table to pick up and use:

We will cover how it works, which devices fit which needs, how to build a local mesh network, and when it makes sense to bridge to the internet or a computer. Good for preppers, tinkerers, privacy minded folks, and anyone building neighborhood resilience.
